How does wipestory work?

wipestory finds the screenshots in your photo library and lets you go through them with a swipe — right to keep, left to delete. When you're ready, it removes the ones you marked in a single step.

Are my screenshots uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything happens on your device. wipestory has no account and no servers — your screenshots never leave your phone.

Where do deleted screenshots go?

They move to your "Recently Deleted" album in Photos, where they stay recoverable for 30 days before iOS removes them for good. Nothing is deleted without your action.

I kept something by mistake — can I see it again?

Yes. Anything you keep is "protected" and won't be shown again. From the dashboard, tap your Protected count to review those screenshots again whenever you like.

I have thousands of screenshots. Do I have to finish in one go?

Not at all. wipestory saves your progress, so you can clean up in short sittings and it picks up exactly where you left off.

How do I add new screenshots I've taken since?

Pull down to refresh on the dashboard, or tap "Scan again." New screenshots appear right away.
